What makes a good doctor great? Is it the thousands of hours they put into honing their craft? Is it an astute reading of the human condition? Or a pleasing bedside manner? Could it be the quiet confidence that comes with knowing the inner workings of organs so well? Perhaps it is curiosity and kindness that is at the heart of it all. No single ingredient makes a great doctor but learning and working on each of these skills can put you on the path to a successful career in medicine.
