Apollo International Clinical Fellowship Programme (ICFP)

Apollo Hospitals has been a guide from going to Indian system of medicine to NHS. I got all the assistance needed for this transistion, right from the process of application till I landed here in the UK. They were very supportive with all the obstacles I had faced with my registration, Visa and English language examination. They had also conducted courses on ATLS, BLS/ALS, which were quite helpful.

I was working in Apollo Jayanagar in the year 2020-2021 under Dr. Sanjay Pai in the dept of orthopaedics which was a great experience for me. Him and his team went out of the way to make my time in the department fruitful academically and generally comfortable. I got to learn a lot about Arthroplasty, it being a major centre for Knee replacements. It is here that I received a mail which was sent to all Apollo employees regarding the MCh/MMed programme in the UK. When I got in touch with the team handling this, I was encouraged to apply for the programme and was guided throughout the process especially by Mrs. Deepthi and her team, who picked my call at any time of the day to answer any queries that I have had. I then spent a week in Apollo Chennai where Dr. Madhan T inducted me to how things work in the UK and posted me with various surgeons for a week in the OTs’ before I left for the UK. All in all it was a good experience and I thank Apollo for giving me the opportunity for the same.
