CertHE Medical Sciences/ Pre-Med
9-months Certificate Programme
9 months Pre-Med is taught on the Crewe campus. On successful completion it can be an appropriate entrance qualification for medical school. The core modules are taught from a clinical perspective, which provides students with the theory and experience generally found among first-year courses at medical and dental school.
Eligibility
- Higher Secondary (Grade 12) with 70% overall (including a min. of 75% in Chemistry or Biology)
- Tamil Nadu (Chennai) / Karnataka (Bangalore) – A minimum overall score of 75% at the end of Standard XII/Grade 12 with no less than 75% in Chemistry and Biology.
- BBC at A-level including Biology or Chemistry
- IB score of 30, HL Biology and Chemistry at 3 or 4 (if at SL then 5 in Biology and Chemistry)
- As proof of English language proficiency, you must hold an IELTS UKVI or Academic of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component (or equivalent)
English Language Proficiency Requirement- Scores like IELTS/PTE etc.
