    BSC (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences.
    2-Year Accelerated Programme

    This programme is designed to prepare students for graduate entry into medical and dental schools, as well as allied health professions. The 2-year programme from Apollo Buckingham Health Science Campus (ABHSC) focusses on the key systems of the body and how they function within mechanisms, such as disease and treatment.

    Comprising a breadth of biomedical science units that includes molecular cell biology, metabolism, genes and diseases along with genetics and therapeutics, our students will graduate with a strong and comprehensive understanding of medical science and its real-world applications. The graduates will acquire the knowledge, skills and academic requirements needed for graduate entry into medical and dental schools across the UK. Students will also be equipped with the qualifications to pursue allied health professions.

    Eligibility

    • Higher Secondary (Grade 12) with 70% overall (including a min. of 75% in Chemistry or Biology)
    • For Tamil Nadu (Chennai) / Karnataka (Bangalore) – A minimum overall score of 75% at the end of Standard XII/ Grade 12 with no less than 75% in Chemistry and Biology
    • BBC at A Level (incl. Chemistry or Biology)
    • IB score of 30, HL Biology and Chemistry at 3 or 4 (if at SL then 5 in Biology and Chemistry)
    • Potential applicants should take a 1-year course and achieve a min. of 70% to be eligible for participation in the admission interview (MMI) for the MB ChB programme
    • IELTS of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component (or equivalent).
